Raising Chickens at Home Workshop
Join us for an introductory workshop on how to raise chickens at your home!
We'll cover the types of chicken breeds, what to look out for when finding a supplier, an overview of a good chicken coop and chicken run. Dominic will share his experience working with his township to allow residential chicken coops and he’ll offer practice guidance on how you can work with your township.
Workshop registration includes 10% off discount for a Foodscaping Consultation with us (Tomorrow's Homestead)! Our consultation include an assessment of your land (slope, sun, soil, noise, neighbors, etc..) and a meeting with you to learn about your goals, challenges, desires, and constraints. We'll then work together to come up with several designs to meet those needs with a Consultation Assessment Summary, as well as a proposal for the Design, Installation, or Maintenace, as discussed, provided to you within 2 weeks of your Consultation.
Workshop held in our Red Barn at 2412 Swamp Pike, Gilbertsville PA 19525. Two workshop slots are available:
