Empowering people to grow food & build communities

WE support

small-scale producers and market gardeners,

who are focused on efficiently producing food

on a small plot of land.

In January 2024, we purchased 18 acres of farmland in Gilbertsville, PA with the goal to provide a new model for land access and resource sharing to small and beginning farmers.

We are working to achieve this goal by providing long-term leasing opportunities with access to resources necessary for thriving farm businesses.

How are we making a difference?

  • Many farm leasing opportunities rely on “handshake deals” that leave farm tenants vulnerable and discourages them from making long-term investments in the land.

By providing long-term lease agreements, farmers can scale their businesses at an achievable pace while confidently investing in long-term soil health.

  • Land is just one piece of running a successful farm. Technical skills, infrastructure, equipment, and market access often fall entirely on the farmer to figure out.

We help reduce these burdens by offering access to shared infrastructure, including our barn and cold storage, as well as a built-in retail outlet through our on-farm stand.

  • Farmers who lease here are supported not only by the Tomorrow’s Homestead team, but by a close-knit community of fellow farm tenants who are excited to work together. From coordinating bulk seed and supply orders to aggregating for wholesale opportunities or building a collective CSA, there are many ways to collaborate. Together, farmers have meaningful opportunities to grow, share resources, and support one another.

ABOUT US

Dominic

Dominic Bruzzese is the Founder of Tomorrow’s Homestead. He has a Masters Degree in Material Science and Engineering. He has worked as a Process Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, and Systems Integration Engineer for various companies in the Semiconductor industry space, as well as a stint as an Operations Manager. Living in Pennsylvania with his wife and children, Dominic cultivated an interest in Homesteading after seeking to provide sustainable and self-reliant ways to bring healthy food to his family. Starting on his own property, Dominic designed an ecosystem to meet his family’s needs, and along the way discovered the vision for Tomorrow’s Homestead.  He realized that there are many large scale benefits (Climate, ecological, social, health) to living a more intentional life, but that the shift toward 'homesteading' would be impossible for many.
